Sales Team plan charity fundraising summer!
Help for Heroes and Cancer Research UK will be two of the charities benefitting from fundraising activities by our sales team this summer.
Jill Scamell, our new Sales Office Manager, has just 7 weeks left to prepare for the Help for Heroes ‘Spire to Spire’ marathon on 16th September. Running just over 26 miles between the cathedrals of Winchester and Salisbury, this is Jill’s 4th charity event for the armed forces. ‘4 years ago I promised I would do something every year – just my way of giving something back. My partner was in the armed forces so it is a charity close to my heart’ said Jill, who started working with us at the beginning of June.
Jill got some practise in this weekend when she joined team mates Lara, Lisa and Sarah for Hereford’s Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. And the boys did their bit too. With the race for Life a predominantly female event, Matt Smith arranged a sponsored Zumba event for the lads. Cliff, Mitch, Dan and Glynn joined Matt on Thursday for a 30 minute Zumba workout in the factory.
‘This is our way of showing our support for our colleague and friend, Lindsay. I hope lots of you were able to sponsor us for these great causes.’ said Matt.
